Journalist Sevgi is also acting İGFA News Agency Muğla Provincial Representative and AjansCANKA Official Journalist. Making a surprise for Mayor Aras, Journalist Sevgi presented Mayor Aras with a specially prepared print sample of the portrait of Atatürk, which was drawn by the famous Atatürk Painter Master Etem Çalışkan in 1969 and which also includes Atatürk’s signature, as a gift for the “100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey and the 1st Anniversary of its Second Century”. MUGLA SHOULD BE PROMOTED FROM THE LOCAL TO THE GENERAL

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras, who was quite pleased with the meeting, drew attention to the fact that they have been on duty for approximately 10 months and said, ”In fact, Muğla is ready for domestic and international tourism for 12 months with its mountains, rocks, sea, historical texture and national culture. We look at Muğla as a whole. We will continue to provide service without separating any of our villages and towns from each other. As you know, we have resolved the water problem of the Marmaris Villages, known as the Bozburun Peninsula Villages, which has been ongoing for more than 100 years, and now we have started work to eliminate the infrastructural deficiencies. This understanding of service is valid for every part of Muğla. The tourism season is about to start in Muğla. While we are making preparations for the 2025 Summer Tourism Season, we are also continuing our promotional activities in European countries, especially in England, in order to open every corner of Muğla to tourism for 12 months.” he said.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras had brought together 13 districts of Muğla in a single stand for the first time at the World Travel Fair held in London last November and ensured their promotion.
