Second week in English Premier League ends

The English Premier League's second week ended Monday night with defending English Premier League winners Manchester City defeating Liverpool 3-1 at home. Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic starred as he found the net for "City" twice. The third goal of the home team was scored by Argentine forward Sergio Aguero. London club Tottenham Hotspur hit their peak in the standings by average after thrashing Queens Park Rangers 4-0 on Sunday. Scorers for the current league leaders "Spurs" were Nacer Chadli who scored twice, Eric Dier and Emmanuel Adebayor. Manchester United, nicknamed the "Red Devils", failed to achieve their first win again. They drew against Sunderland 1-1 in an away match on Sunday. Another London side, Chelsea toppled Leicester City 2-0 with goals scored by Diego Costa and Eden Hazard on Saturday.  Arsenal barely drew against Everton 2-2 with a late equalizer scored by Arsenal's French towering striker Olivier Giroud. "Gunners" first goal against Everton was scored by Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey in the 83rd minute.
