Galatasaray announce 3 new transfers

The reigning Turkish champions have gifted their fans a day full of joy on social media. Numerous announcement videos were shared across their media platforms, ultimately announcing their new signings. Ryan Babel has signed a 3-year contract, after his contract expired with Premier League side Fullham. The club has stated that Babel will recieve a signing fee of £1.79m, and a yearly wage of £2.24m (Without bonuses). The 32-year-old Dutch international winger has had a solid season despite only joining in the January transfer period, scoring 5 goals and assisting 4 times in 16 Premier League appearances. Babel also scored 7 goals under Besiktas in the first half of the season. As a player who has previously adapted to the Turkish league with both Besiktas & Kasimpasa, the Dutchman will more than likely aid The Lions in their quest for their 23rd championships.

Adem Buyuk, is another player who played for Kasimpasa and a familiar face to Babel. The 31-year-old Turkish striker has netted 6 goals and assisted once under Yeni Malatyaspor last season. Buyuk peaked his career at Kasimpasa, scoring 49 goals and assisting 29 times, in 172 appearances. The 2-year contract Buyuk has signed, allows him to recieve a yearly fee of £475,000 in 2019/20, and £543,000 in 2020/21 (Without bonuses).

Valentine Ozornwafor, is a secret discovery from Galatasaray. The 20-year-old Nigerian defender has left his old club, Enyimba Aba for a fee of £269,000.Ozonwafor has appeared in 5 games for the Nigerian U20's and has recently been called up to the Nigerian national team. The 4-year contract allows Ozornwafor to recieve £89,000 in 2020/21, £112,000 in 2021/22, £134,000 in 2022/23 & £179,000 in 2023/24 (Without bonuses).

It was definetly an exciting day for Galatasaray fans, however it does seem that there will be further signings by the club as they prepare for a tough season in 2019/20. Aiming to win their 23rd Super Lig title and reach a high stage in the UEFA Champions League.
