FIFA on Wednesday announced the Best Men's Player award nominees for the 2018-2019 season.
It also announced the best FIFA women’s player and men's and women's coach award nominees for 2019.
Three Liverpool footballers, Mohamed Salah (Egypt), Virgil van Dijk (Netherlands) and Sadio Mane (Senegal), are among the nominees. Two more Dutch players, Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong, are also on the list.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are also among the nominees for the Best Men's Player.
Public voting opens today and the award ceremony will be held on Sept. 23 in Milan, Italy.
