Daylight Saving Time to end on Oct. 27

Daylight saving time in Turkey will end on October 27. Clocks will be switched back by one hour at 4:00 a.m. on October 27, Sunday. Turkey saved about 800 million-1 billion kilowatt/hour electricity thanks to seven-month long daylight saving time. The practice of Daylight Saving Time was first introduced by an act in 1925.
