Supported by a range of current stars and footballing legends including Manuel Neuer, Erling Haaland, Lautaro Martínez, Ana Marković, Ruud Gullit, Gareth Bale, Thierry Henry, Didier Deschamps and Rio Ferdinand, the ‘Get Trained, Save Lives’ campaign aims to educate fans in basic CPR skills through in-person trainings and online.
Championing sustainability
Four of the five UEFA Champions Festival locations – Potters Fields Park, Regent Street, Trafalgar Square and Somerset House – will have dedicated Pepsi recycling infrastructure for fans to return their cups and recycle their cans, along with a roaming Pepsi team to assist and encourage fans to dispose of their packaging appropriately.
At the Potters Fields Park, all Pepsi fountain drinks will be served in reusable cups, while Trafalgar Square and Potters Fields Park will feature gamified experiences that reward fans who return their reusable cups or cans (cups only at Potters Field Park) to the Pepsi-branded vending machines.
The Ultimate Champions Tournament broadcast at Trafalgar Square on Friday afternoon will be aired through a full cloud-based production, minimising carbon emissions associated with traditional broadcasting.
The Friday Night Show by Rockstar Energy Drink will see concertgoers become active participants as the energy generated on the Pavegen kinetic-energy dance floor will help power Rudimental's microphone and DJ booth.
Visitors are encouraged to download the UEFA Champions League App and visit the event guide, featuring the full festival programme, site maps, public transportation options, daily live updates and more.
