The lounge is run by Turkish DO&CO who are the catering company who provide the meals on Turkish Airlines and thus helped get those awards. With that in knowledge, travelers can be rest assured that they can expect high quality food in the lounge too.

The lounge has been expanded by 40% in size due to the surge in Turkish Airline passengers and their desires. The lounge originally had one floor but now has two floors. In total, the lounge now has a capacity that can be filled with over 1000 travelers. There is now more resting space, more massage beds, more shower facilities amongst other attractions. What else does the lounge offer? There is free wifi, a golf simulator, computers, a cinema, a children's play area, game consoles, a library, prayer room etc. It sounds like the perfect place to chill out before a flight.

Whether a traveler desires some peace and quiet and a nap, or some fun and games, the lounge is designed to provide to all travelers' wants. It was once said on Skins, the TV show, "It is not about the destination, it's about the journey" and it seems at though the Turkish Airlines Lounge Istanbul is proving that evident.
