Turkish Community Art Exhibition

We are inviting the members of the Turkish community in the United Kingdom to participate in an Art Exhibition organised by the Yunus Emre Enstitüsü-London and the Turkish Consulate General in London. The exhibition will take place between 23 January and 22 February 2019.

The aim of the exhibition is to create an opportunity to bring together both professional and amateur Turkish artists to show solidarity and unity within the Turkish community living in the United Kingdom.

The selection of works will be done by a jury.

Terms and Conditions:

Being a current resident in the UK.

Artists can participate with up to 3 works of contemporary or traditional arts.

The size of the longest side of the work should not be more than 200cm.

All participants accept that they are the owners of any works they submit, that the works are unique and that no third party has any claim on the works. In the case of a dispute regarding the works submitted, Turkish Consulate General in London and Yunus Emre Ensitüsü-London will not accept any responsibility.

Submission:

All works that applicants wish to submit must be sent by Friday 14th, December 2018 to the Yunus Emre Enstitüsü-London, 10 Maple Street, London, W1T 5HA.

All postage and insurance costs are the responsibility of the applicants.

Any works lost due to postage or transit is not the responsibility of Turkish Consulate General in London and the Yunus Emre Enstitüsü-London.

Each work submitted needs its own registration form. Registration forms can be found at http://yeelondon.org.uk.

Submission forms must be sent by Friday 14th December 2018via email to [email protected] or via post to 10 Maple Street London, W1T 5HA.

Selection:

Selection will be done by a Jury and results will be announced on January 7th 2019. Notification will be sent via email.

Chosen works will be exhibited at the Yunus Emre Enstitüsü-London from 23rd January to 22nd February 2019 for all art lovers.

Works at the Exhibition will be documented with an Exhibition Catalogue.

The Turkish Consulate General in London and the Yunus Emre Enstitüsü-London may use successful works for advertising purposes on social media or otherwise.

Awards:Any work exhibited will be awearded with a Certificate.
