Trade insights, and global growth at the heart of IFE’s Exporters Hub programme

The Exporters Hub will welcome a wide range of import and export experts, industry associations and global government organisations to share key insights and information for food & drink brands in the UK looking to expand internationally.  The Hub’s seminar programme will kick off with a guide to getting started in export hosted by Sandra Sullivan MBE of the Food & Drink Exporters Association and featuring panellists Ian Ainslie of Unsworth and Richard Bartlett of Export Unlocked.  This will be followed by a session hosted by Andy Richardson of the European Food and Farming Partnership, who will be discussing how to build resilience through export with Carlton Brown of Marshall & Brown, Jayson Churn of CWD Logistics and Matthew Clark of BDO UK.

Prof Consulting Group’s Mark Field will be joined by Jade Guiffes of SUTRALIS and Louise Armour of Rosetta Brands for a session entitled ‘Where in the World? Exploring Global Opportunities for UK Exports with FDEA’.

Armour comments: “I’m looking forward to taking part in a couple of the panels at IFE this year. It’s always great to engage in meaningful discussions on current topics across the F&B and international markets with industry experts. It’s shaping up to be a good one this year!!”

Andy Richardson will host a second session on exploring future trade partners and opportunities across the world, joined by Brendan Vickers of the International Chamber of Commerce – UK, Emma Finn of the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom, FDF’s James Berringer and James Wright of Wrexham Lager.
British Frozen Food Federation’s Denise Rion will be joined by International Business Development, Marketing & Sales Consultant Peter Bambury and Robert Hardy of EORI Group to discuss key insights for importers and exporters in a post-Brexit world.

“I’m incredibly pleased to be speaking at this year’s IFE, where I’ll be joining colleagues in providing key insights for importers and exporters in this ‘post-Brexit world’,” Rion says “With so many changes afoot, it’s crucial that UK businesses stay ahead of the curve.

“Ultimately, I hope the session will help in addressing the many challenges we face as well as offering invaluable insight in navigating the complexities of trading with the EU and beyond.  It certainly promises to be a highly informative session, and I’m excited to contribute to such an important conversation.”

A must-attend session for growing food & drink brands of ‘Navigating Global Markets for SMEs: Building a Winning Export Strategy’ with Lucina O’Reilly of The International Trade Consultancy chairing the debate alongside panellists Christopher Salmon of clearBorder, Joanne Alexander Sefre of Food Sans Frontières and Joseph Goldsworthy of the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade.
