ISTANBUL(Tuncay Kayaoglu)-Turkey will donate a total of $2 million to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday. "Of this money, $1.8 million will be delivered to the secretary-general's coffers, while $100,000 will be delivered to the Human Rights Commission. Another $100,000 will be delivered to the Islamic Unity Fund," said Erdogan.
He declared the contributions on the last day of the OIC's Istanbul Summit, where Turkey also took over the OIC chair for the next two years.
