In a letter of felicitations to the Pope, the Chairman of Muslim Aid said: "Muslim Aid is impressed by the lifelong commitment of His Holiness Pope Francis to serve the poor, the weakest and the ordinary people who make up the majority of humanity in the world. Muslim Aid admires the Pope's most compassionate stance for healing the wounds caused by differences in faith and beliefs and his efforts to build bridges of understanding and cooperation between different faiths and civilisations. We pray that the Pope will be able to respond to the challenges facing our religion and our society through his wisdom, love of humanity and faith in God."
As a faith-based charity, Muslim aid has worked with international NGOs, including charities of other faiths, in delivering emergency relief and poverty alleviation projects to help the needy beneficiaries around the world.
