The Sixth Global Webit Congress, a digital and tech event bringing together global digital and tech leaders from around the world, has kicked off on Wednesday in Istanbul.
Plamen Russev, chairman of the Webit Congress, described the gathering at the Halic Congress Center as a great opportunity for investment, while praising the city of Istanbul, which he said "creates a link between Asia and Europe."
"We expect people here to find investment and opportunities during the congress," he said during the opening speech.
Over 10,000 attendees from 110 countries are expected to participate in the congress, which brings together more than 200 of the world's global digital and tech leaders as well as CEOs, CTOs and CIOs of the world's most innovative companies including Apple, PayPal and Google.
The two-day event will host the Digital Marketing and Innovation Conference, which will connect attendees with thousands of C-level global and regional advertisers, agencies, publishers, advertisers as well as marketing tech providers.
Moreover, the Leaders of the Future Tech Summit will assemble the most influential founders, CTOs, CIOs of the world's most innovative companies, along with top talents, over 400 investors and 300 accredited media.
