On a day of big(ish) transfers, Sky Sports News sealed a deadline day deal of their own.
Natalie Sawyer, so long a veteran of the 'last-minute shift' with Jim White from 8pm-12pm, appeared at 1pm, much to our surprise, alongside the lesser known David Garrido.
The Sky Sports lead lady was replaced by Kate Abdo, who will sit alongside White when the window slams shut.
Abdo is the lead presenter for Sky Sports News Germany and recently presented the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Switzerland.
There is yet to be an official comment from Sawyer or Abdo to confirm who is taking the lead presenter role in the long-term.
