According to the first ' Transparency Report' published by Microsoft, Turkish police submitted 11 thousand 434 applications requesting the records of 14 thousand 77 people, including their user information, e-mail contents and Skype conversations. The company supplied police with the user information to nearly 9 thousand people, but did not the contents of users' e-mails and instant messaging. With this figure, Turkey ranks as the country which requested the most information from Microsoft. The United States followed in second place, with 360 less applications. France, Germany and the United Kingdom rank as the other countries which requested the most records.
