On Saturday 03 July 2021, TCCA under the umbrella of the Rhythm of Breath Festival launched the Rhythm of Breath Arts Exhibition. The Exhibition uses art to depict the struggle associated with going through mental health’s many guises. Its uses are to empower and begin the discussion that in time will develop a greater understanding as to mental health. Attendees to the opening were addressed by a number of community leaders all who spoke about the importance of discussing taboo’s that exist in today’s society. The stage was then passed to Cypriot Art Platform who recited poetry that addressed the issue of Mental Health.
The work of the exhibition has been praised for leading in challenging myths associated with Mental Health and helping in the development of new initiatives that support those who are suffering through addiction and mental health.The event was streamed live and connected with the main event in Lefkosa, Cyprus.The exhibition will remain open until 30 July 2021.
