Day 1: Flight to Antalya
Flight to Antalya. Meet and greet by our travel representative and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Antalya.
Day 2: Myra - St. Nicholas
After breakfast we will travel along the coast and enjoy the amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus mountain with peaceful pine forests and cliffy peaks. Along the way we will visit the famous World Heritage site of Myra with its rock tombs, which are among the most fascinating sights worth seeing in Turkey. The tombs and sarcophagi date back to the 4th century B.C. Also in Myra you will find St. Nicholas' Church, where Saint Nicholas is buried. Overnight stay in the region of Mugla.
Day 3: Lykia
We will experience day 3 on water. From the city of Dalyan we will travel by ship to the Tortoise coast. During our trip we will see the thousand-year-old cliff remains and other beautiful sights. On Iztuzu beach you will be able to swim. This is also one of the few mating places of the Tortoise (Caretta Caretta). One of the many reasons there are calls to preserve the natural beauty of this area. Accommodation for 2 nights in the lively nearby area of Kusadasi.
Day 4: Ephesus
Today we will visit Ephesus, one of the most important architectural sights in Turkey and the most significant trade and cultural centre of the Ancient World. Here, amazing historical wonders await you: the public agora, Domitian temple, Nympheum, thermal springs, the spacious 25,000-seater theatre, the marble alley Arcadia, and the Celsus Library. Afterwards you will visit the Basilica of Saint Johannes, a major Byzantine monument. Accommodation near Kusadasi.
Day 5: Cotton Castle
The following 2 days will be spent in Pamukkale, its name meaning 'Cotton Castle'. In the distance you will be able see the snowy white limestone terraces. Their dazzling whiteness highlighted by the turquoise water within them. This fascinating natural wonder attracts visitors due to its famous healing properties. Upon arrival you will be able to bathe in the famous thermal waters at the hotel. Accommodation in Pamukkale.
Day 6: Hierapolis
On day 6 we will visit the majestic ruins of Hierapolis, which stretch above the limestone terraces of Pamukkale. Flourishing in the times of the Roman Empire. Here rest the remains of the Apollo temple dating back to the 3rd century B.C. The Roman Theatre is beautiful and sumptuous with its fifty steps of travertine. The trip continues, taking in the splendid scenery of the Taurus Mountains as we travel back to Antalya. We also visit a carpet factory along the way, where you will get acquainted with the wonderful process of carpet making (from raw material production; silk, cotton and wool to the finished woven product). Overnight stay in the region of Antalya.
Day 7: Antalya
Today we get the chance to discover Antalya, one of the most beautiful cities of the Turkish Riviera. Its rich vegetation thrives owing to the protection afforded by the magnificent setting of the Taurus Mountains. Here you will learn about the symbols of the city, such as Minaret Yivli. Turkey is famous for its gold and leather products - during our walk you will have the chance to purchase some of these fine items. The highlight of the trip will be a visit to Karpuzkaldrian Waterfalls. Accommodation near Antalya.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to Antalya airport and your return flight home.
